Scan Results 2

After the results of the CT last week, we came into today with hesitant hope.  Thankfully, we received good news: the tumor in his leg has not changed in size.  So the chemo up to this point has stabilized the cancer and has prevented any further spreading.  Of course, we would have loved to hear that there were some drastic improvements - Carey has endured some drastic suffering - but it's still early on.  Now we look forward to the radiation bringing some productive results.  Good scans in March will certainly be exciting and will help motivate Carey to keep pressing through this.

We have a nice two and a half weeks ahead of us now to sit back, celebrate the holidays, enjoy some restful family time, and some birthday partying :)

I've heard this song a million times before, but this year it's at the top of my Christmas playlist...

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the yule tide gay
Next year all our troubles will be miles away"

Wishing you a very Merry little Christmas, faithful friends, from our family to yours.
