Merry Christmas

A few days ago we celebrated Eli’s fourth birthday.  It was a busy and chaotic day, but it was so much fun.  It made me so happy to see him so happy.  Lots of his friends came over to play, family is in town, he opened all kinds of fun gifts, and he ate tons of sugar!  Pure joy.

God must be so happy today.  He gets to watch people all across the globe celebrate an amazing birthday.  Jesus Christ was born!  Emmanuel, God with us!  The most precious gift was given for us– to teach us, to love us, to guide us, and to save us.

We are more grateful than ever this year for God’s eternal hope in salvation - for the gift of Jesus.  And for the generous love that pours on to our family.

Romans 8:18 says, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us.” So let’s spread joy to the world, and be a light in the darkness!  Let’s love the way Christ demonstrated – sacrificially, graciously, and genuinely - " working through love." (Galatians 5:6)

Hope you all have had a beautiful day, and a Merry Christmas – we love you guys.
